An Unexpected Attraction p.2

Five months had passed since Cyberknight met Blitzwing in the forest. After the first meeting, the Autobot femme and the Decepticon mech continued to visit one another in secret in the forest far from the city. Their relationship bloomed and Cyberknight and Blitzwing became closer, despite being enemies.

Which brings us to the present as ion shots fly across the deserted canyon miles from the city. Shouts, cries of pain, angered battle cries, and various explosions filled the once silent canyon, droplets of energon, the lifeblood of Cybertronians, and bits of metal mixing with the minerals of the earths. The ground shook from the force of the collisions of the fighters, the Autobots and the Decepticons.

Bumblebee, fast and full of banter, sped across the field of battle and circled around Lugnut multiple times. Meanwhile, Bulkhead hurled his wrecking ball at the massive Decepticon with such a force, that is knocked Lugnut back a couple feet.

On the other side of the battle field stood Prowl and Starscream. Starscream taunted Prowl as he floated about the cyber-ninja, but Prowl remained calm and silent, waiting for the right moment. Which, the motorcycle got when Starscream was briefly distracted by Lugnut’s harsh words and yell when the large green Autobot hit the larger Decepticon. Prowl threw his shuriken at top speed at Starscream’s jets, which got lodged into the seeker’s stiletto heels, forcing him to the ground. As soon as Megatron’s lieutenant landed, Prowl lunged at Starscream, easily dodging the Decepticon’s incoming attacks. At least, most of them. Prowl was hit right in the abdomen and was sent flying into the canyon wall.

“Prowl!” Optimus yelled, but head to return to his own battle, his battle against the tyrant himself, Megatron.

Megatron lunged at the young Prime, but Optimus leapt back just in time, barely avoiding being grabbed. The last time Optimus was grabbed by Megatron, he was picked up and hurled into the nearest wall before being punched particularly hard. Optimus, in turn, swung his glowing axe toward the tyrant’s arm, hoping to disable that arm, but narrowly missed as Megatron jumped forward and shoved Optimus to the side. Despite Optimus’s obvious injuries, he was, shockingly, holding his ground against the leader of all Decepticons, the one who nearly brought Cybertron to its knees.

Above the others, though, fought Cyberknight and Blitzwing. Cyberknight ducked under yet another fire blast from Hothead (as she nicknamed the red face of the three personalities), who cursed and lunged at the darkly colored femme to grab her, but the small femme was quick as scratched his arm with her electrically charged clawed digits. The effect was instant, Blitzwing seized up and fell to the ground, but Cyberknight knew that he would not stay down for long once one of the personalities would take over.

Just as she had predicted, Cyberknight jumped back in time to watch Icy (the nickname for the blue faced personality) freeze the ground where she once stood. In retaliation, Cyberknight ran around the ice patch and behind Blitzwing, but it was futile when her outstretched servo was snatched out of midair by Blitzwing’s larger servo. She was suddenly pulled chest plate to chest plate with the Decepticon as Random’s (nickname for the black faced personality) laugh filled the femme’s audio receptors.

“Hahahahaha! Look! Ve’re Danze Fighting!” Random cackled and spun around with Cyberknight still in his arms.

Cyberknight couldn’t help but chuckle a little at that before she heard Optimus yell for her and the other Autobots to all retreat. Without much more of a fight, Blitzwing released Cyberknight, making it look like he was trying to hold her down, and watched as the femme fled with her companions.

~Back at Base~

“We… uh… did pretty good I guess…” Bumblebee muttered as he watched Ratchet check up on Prowl for any damage worse than what was on the outside of all of them, including Cyberknight. Blitzwing may be her friend, but that does not mean much in a fight, both of them were still trying to damage the other.

“We did what we could and I personally think we succeeded,” Optimus said with a sad smile. “We may not have won that battle, exactly, but we managed to give those human miners more than enough time to escape.”

“That’s right! So no more sulking!” The young human known as Sari yelled with the largest smile on Earth. Cyberknight couldn’t help but wonder if the human’s face would split in half one of these days from such a large smile. “Bee! Bulk! Let’s play a game now that you’re both back!” She said as she crawled onto Bulkheads foot.

“Sure!” Bulkhead said cheerfully and carefully picked up Sari and walked out of the room with Bumblebee in tow, him chatting nonstop.

Cyberknight stood with a sigh and stretched her arms above her helm and looked over to Optimus.  “I think I’m gonna go for a drive, wanna stretch out my wheels. I’ll be back later,” She said and walked out of the room once Optimus gave her a smile and a thumbs up. Prowl waved her goodbye before focusing back on meditating as Ratchet continued to do minor repairs to the cyber-ninja’s armor.

Zooming through the trees, Cyberknight quickly found herself in the clearing where she would usually go to and meet up with Blitzwing, but it seemed the Decepticon beat her there this time. The femme chuckled once she saw Random snap his body in her direction with that large jagged smile, his red optics focusing in on her.

“Knight! Velcome Back!” He said cheerfully and ran over to the Autobot. Before Cyberknight could react, a flower crown was placed on her helm gently. “I Zaw Humans Making Somezing Like Zis And Zought Is Vould Look Good On Jou!” He said and patted Cyberknight on the head and her faceplates flushed.

She looked away with a bright blush and smiled shyly, “Thank you, Blitzwing…”

“NEIN!” Hothead immediately yelled once he took control and grabbed ahold of Cyberknight’s servo. “ZAT IST NOZING! I VILL SHOW JOU ZE PROPER VAY TO COURT, JOU IMBECILE!” He yelled more at himself than Cyberknight, confusing her greatly, but before she could ask what was going one, Icy took over.

“Zat ist not necessary, comrades,” the blue faced Blitzwing said gently and placed his other servo, the one not holding Cyberknight’s, onto her waist and started to gently move around. “Jou must be gentle and patient.”

‘Wait,’ Cyberknight thought briefly, her faceplates turning even brighter when she remembered what happened earlier that day in the fight and what the Blitzwing personalities have said to each other. ‘Is Blitzwing… FLIRTING with me?!’

At that thought, Cyberknight’s face exploded in a vivid red, causing Icy to chuckle coolly.

“It looks, dear Liebling (my love in German), zat you may have jour own version of Hothead,” Icy said and chuckled to himself.

“I… What… Y-you,” Cyberknight couldn’t contain her blush nor could she form words, so all she could do was lean forward and lay her head on Blitzwing’s chest plate, heat filling her entire body with embarrassment.

“Cyberknight,” Icy said and stopped dancing with the femme to gently grab ahold on her chin, tilting her face up to his. “Do jou accept mien, our (referring to his other personalities), love?”

Cyberknight stared at Blitzwing for a long minute before the blush renewed itself and she pulled her hands away from the Decepticon to wrap her arms around the tall mech’s neck. “YES!” She yelled and hugged the mech, her lip component inches from his, not expecting him to kiss her or anything. She just wanted to be closer to him.

But…

She was not ready for what the Decepticon did next…

He leaned down and gently kissed her, a deep chuckle rumbled from his chest when Cyberknight suddenly lost feeling in her legs and he held her up with his arms, which were wrapped around her waist. After a short moment, after Cyberknight closed her optics and returned the gentle kiss, Blitzwing pulled away and leaned his forehead against Cyberknight’s.

“Heh,” Icy hummed and showed a spark melting smile, “Seems like ve found jour veakness, sveetheart…”

Cyberknight couldn’t help but laugh once more before kissing her Decepticon lover. An Autobot, who didn’t even want to be on Earth, was sitting in a forest far from the city she was supposed to protect. But, she wasn’t sitting alone, no, she was with her enemy. An enemy who was unexpectedly attracted to her like she was attracted to him. An enemy who was now her one and only secret lover.

And it all started with an unexpected meeting.
